Et la lumiere fut!

Playlist:

  1. Phil Hiett - Backlight / Aardvark Records
  2. Pierre Pienaar - Daybreak / Nukleuz Records
  3. Sequentia - Sun Worship / Dark Noize Recordings

  7. Gorski and Vosh - Morning Light / Ocean Drive Records
  8. DJ Base-T ft Andy Suncraft - Beam of the Light / Ocean Drive Records

Here comes the Light!

Aardvark Records Back Light provides a chillout intro to the set. The next song from Nukleuz Records gives it a boost with a very uplifting trance track before we go for good steady beats from Dark Noize Recordings and a beautiful break that takes you close to heaven.
Redux Recordings released a very beautiful and powerful track with “Celebrate the Light”. This is one of my favorites.
The next track from U-NEQ is darker and closer to the electro music motion.
U-NEQgives it a little electro touch before receiving the uplifting sound from Emotive Sounds and “Call to Light”.
“Morning Light” from Ocean Drive Records is a well built firm song in the classic trance style.
The set ends with a very nice release from Ocean Drive Records, you’re gonna get high!

  7. Brisky - First Light / Reality Bites Records
  8. Fire and Ice - Let there be Light / Bonzai Music

The Creation Process begins! Light struggles to come out.

The mix starts with minimal electro from our friends BIT Records Mexico. The next song comes from Euphonic with a kind of chillout music taste. Music Worx (Bonzai) features then a surprising tune very close to trance goa impulse before letting go a classic trance song full of uplifting waves.
The fifth track is from the Air Tight Digital Label featuring the very nice artist Dean Fichna and his Light through Darkness.
Bonzai Classics“Do you see the Lights” is a very special tune that I like very much, this is good quality trance with a peculiarity that I will let you discover… Then we go back to more classic trance tone from Reality Bites Records that will let you relax a bit before the stunning “Let there Be Light” from Bonzai again.

“Esto Muerto Por” from Aardvark Records gives an uplifting taste before the mix darkens with the famous electro artist Yves Deruyter belonging to the excellent Bonzai Music.
We then enjoy a relative rest with classic trance from Dark Noize before more uplifting sound from Redux Recordings and the massive tune “Surreal Skies”. Genesis - Part I

Monday 12 May 2008

Etre capable de trouver sa joie dans la joie de l’autre, voila le secret du bonheur. George Bernanos

Playlist:

  1. Chris Galmon vs N.D.A. - Tell Me Why / Paranoja Records
  2. Atomix - Let Me Take U / Ocean Drive Records
  3. Marc Marberg with Kyau Albert - Neo Love / Euphonic
  4. Freq - What a Feeling (Jerome Ism-ae Remix) / Iboga Records

After Direction Sky Mix I decided to go further in poetic mixing inspiration. The idea of releasing a mix about the beginning of all times as a metaphor for beginning of all artistic creation was quite natural.

This first stone of the set welcomes new labels that gave their support to the podcast project and I would like to pay homage to them for letting me mixing their tunes. Thanks to their help this is legal music.

The mix starts with a dancefloor song that could be almost classified in minimal dance music with nice female vocal, available by the Paranoja Records label. Then comes pure electro music sound with Atomix from the excellent Ocean Drive Records.
We move on to the next one with soft trance music from the german label Euphonic. The mix closes up on steady beats with “What a Feeling” and a techno trance tonality from Iboga Records.

News

Monday 12 May 2008

Hi Everybody,

I’m very proud to announce a big turn in A Voice of Electro. As you may know podcasting music from the U.K. requires a license granted by the MCPS-PRS Alliance: I’ve just received it today!
You also need sometimes license from the record companies for the use of the sound recording. To comply to these rules I have contacted the best Trance & Electro recording labels I’ve picked up so far to be able to include a few of their amazing tunes in this podcast. The good news is everybody came back with positive answers and sometimes offering even more support.
You can find more information about these labels on the Record Companies page. If you like their tunes don’t hesitate to hang around their websites and buy your favorite songs because they are the ones who keep this podcast alive.

Thank you!
