Poetic mixing

Mixing tunes is very similar to poetry. The DJ is using sequences as words, tracks as quatrains, and the whole combination will make up a poem.

While listening the greatest trance DJs the idea came to my mind that mix could have a theme, a unifying idea.
Any song, even voiceless has a title. It does mean that the artist reflected the feelings he had thinking about the title topic, or lyrics, into the melody. What could be greatest then to mix melodies reflecting similar feelings?
The creative thinking coming out of this idea sounded like a divine revelation to me. Using this unifying power of the common inspiration of the artists, the sets would burst any limits!

I couldn’t think about anything else anymore and I decided to create this podcast to share this amazing discovery with the largest amount of electro and trance music lovers.
