  • 4-Strokeproduktunes: Pascal Quatretemps akka Crashguard – sets his first steps in house music as the resident dj and co-founder of Radio “Laser” in 1991. With the opening of a local club “The House”, he then started at the by now legendary club “LaRocca” to be the resident dj at many “Laser” parties to come, after co-founding another radio station called “Channel X” he became the resident dj at club “The Qu”, meanwhile setting up dj-sets for parties at “Barocci”, the decision was made to cut back on the party sets for radio stations and begin working more specifically towards composing.
    After a period of many years, producing as exclusive artist for “Bonzai records” ,“lightning records” and many dj and live performances on events like “The Love Parrade” Pascal is nowadays completely independent.
    Since then he produced many different styles like goa, psytrance, techno, hardtrance and so on ….
    In the beginning of 2003 a commercial project with a female singer was released.
    In May 2003 Pascal decided to start his own label. The idea was just a complete independent label with only digital releases (pay per download).
    Together with his wife Kristel Willems akka “Shiva”, a real “goa angel”, he invented “4-Stroke Produktunes”. A complete digital label with no vinyl or cd releases but only legal pay per download releases.
  • Aardvark Records: Aardvark Dance was established by Aardvark Records Director Alex di Savoia in 2005 partly to indulge in his love of quality dance music - and because Aardvark Records had more dance artists than anything else. The first releases were an eclectic mix of psytrance, breakbeat, progressive house and euro house. That set the tone for the label. Aardvark Dance was never going to be genre-specific.
    Perhaps better known for its trance and psytrance releases, Aardvark Dance has recently expanded to include techno and drum & bass. The label quite happily supports up and coming new talent as well as established names in the dance music scene. Aardvark Dance is a staunchly independent label for independent people, working hard to get its acts heard all around the globe.

  • Adult Records (Technique Records): Adult Records was started just after the summer of 2005 by Paul Hazendonk as a sublabel of the Basic Beat recordcompany and their label Technique (which is now defunkt), based in Rotterdam (NL). The label entered the global techno scene with a blast, as the first release, Ko Raketa EP by Marko Nastic and Veztax, was a huge success. After that nearly all the key players in the funky techno scene made their appearance on Adult Records with either a release or a remix. After a while they also gave some fresh talents, like Sinisa Tamamovic, Mladen Tomic and Ummet Ozcan a chance to release their material. Nowdays the label is widely known as being a sure thing in the sets of all DJ’s who support no-nonsense funky uptempo techno.
  • Alien8: Alien8 Recordings was founded in 1996 by Sean O’Hara and Gary Worsley, under whose operation the label continues to this day. Originally focussing on noise and experimental music, the label has since broadened its scope to include numerous other genres while becoming particularly active in releasing the works of artists based in its home town of Montreal.
  • Audio Donor: Irish Digital Music Label. Audio Donor Records, setup in 2005 in response to talented European producers.
    The man behind Audio Donor Records (Robbie Sommers) has played a part in bringing electronic music to the airwaves of dublin in the early 90’s, he is also known on the club scene both in Ireland and overseas.
    With over 30 releases to date Audio Donor Records is nearing a major label on the techno and electro scene!   • Ava Recordings: AVA Recordings, the brainchild of Andy Moor, was established in early 2006.
    The United Kingdom based label, dedicated to releasing quality electronic music, has been developed in a way whereby rigid guidelines will not have to be conformed to, ensuring true freedom with releases.
    With the focus on ‘classy’ electronic dance music, the label will release tracks from some of today’s top names, alongside upcoming talents.
    However, with the prominence placed solely on the music, the hope is that the substance of the track is examined before the name of the artist or remixer.

  • Bonzai Music: Banshee Worx was founded in May 2003 some 2 months after the ending of Lightning Records which was the company that took care for the Bonzai brand and imprint since 1992 until early March 2003.
    Now things changed and Banshee Worx was formed by Fly (owner and founder of the Bonzai trademark), Marnik (former International and A & R from Lightning Records) and 2 artist/producer/dj’s who were also part of the Lightning Records artist roster, namely: Yves Deruyter (Belgium’s finest DJ) and Laurent Véronnez (aka Airwave) (one of the biggest upcoming talents for the next years to come!!!).
    So, nothing much has changed, a new entity has been formed and the same driving forces behind the succes of the Bonzai imprint will continue to serve the universe with the greatest trance music with artists like Airwave, Yves Deruyter, Push, Plastic Boy, Quadran, Lolo, DJ Fire, Fire & Ice, Solar Factor, Cape Town, Philippe Van Mullem , … and many new ones to come.
  • Composure Records: Composure Records was created by Paul Davies in early 2001 as a long-term independent musical outlet for the UK based studio and artists behind the Beam Strategic and Flytrapp progressive house projects. Composure allows total creative freedom with no specific time frame or musical genre for its output.
    Working initially with Unique Distribution, Composure sought to develop its studio technology, sound and ability to create and distribute music directly whilst working within the traditional dance industry framework. The web presence for Composure Records and its partnership with global web distribution is a natural extension of this philosophy and is set to develop over the course of 2007 bringing new artists on board to provide the complete digital dance label.
    Ideas always need to start somewhere and for Composure Records it starts on a rainy night in Bristol at the Powerhouse venue in 1998. One half of Flytrapp has endured an evening of what can only be described as ’speed garage’ with a dose of serious flu to wait for “the man like” Sasha. Much of Bristol seemed content with just the speed garage and vanished around 2am but when the myth that is Sasha emerged to start a 3:15am DJ set, the remaining faithful were treated to some beautiful cruising music.
    The opening track was lovingly known later by many as the, ‘red record’ on Universal Prime Breaks, track title ‘Composure’. A simple record that encompassed everything that Flytrapp had hoped dance music could be, atmospheric, melodic and timeless; a prelude to an awesome set by Sasha.
    By this time tiredness and flu had taken grip, but that record became the catalyst for further musical endeavors and the record label. When the production duo behind Flytrapp (Limbo Records) and later Beam Strategic (Quad Communications) wanted to broaden their musical output it all fell into place, Composure was born…
  • Dark Noize Recordings: In the Year 2003 three German producers - Talec, DJ Riddler and Mike Davies - decided to create their own label Dark-Noize-Recordings. This idea was the result of their long cooperation during the last few years. It was important for them, to publish their own styles and they also wanted to create a platform for young producers to give them the chance of a real future in the music business.
  • Elektrofone: Elektrofone Records inc is a compagny who managed three (3) records labels groups - Elektrofone Records Label Group / E-Labels Management / E-Acoustic Group - Based in Montreal, Canada, the compagny had sublabels all around the world. Actinng mainly in the electronic music scene, Elektrofone Records inc. covered all major music style from house to techno, passing by the trance, progressive, electro, minimal and experimental music.

  • Iboga Records: The story of Iboga Records began in the middle of the nineties when an organisation called “Rotundum” arranged several events in the period between 1994-97 in the greater area of Copenhagen, Denmark. Dj’s Amon, Banel, and Emok were 3 of the 25 involved in the group, and after years of event organising & performing, the idea of a Copenhagen record label, a platform for a new progressive electronic sound was begining to take shape.
    A studio was started, and in 1998 the first C.D. compilation (Tabernanthe) was released. It consisted mainly of the newest and freshest Scandinavian sounds of that time, and it was in these early days that the artists Beat Bizarre, Phony Orphants, Oryx, Reefer Decree, and Lurifax, made their first groundbreaking releases and started to build a very strong reputation on the Iboga label.
    Today the Iboga artist roster includes names such as Behind Blue Eyes, Phony Orphants, Antix, FREq, Liquid Soul, Perfect Stranger, Sun Control Species, Flowjob, Ace Ventura, Beat Bizarre, and Reefer Decree.

  • Nukleuz: Nukleuz was established by UK Media Records boss Peter Pritchard in 1996 in order to create a quality club label. The very first releases on the label were funky house but within a couple of years it had released its first UK hard house productions. This developed pace with the whole brand exploding at the end of the last millennium.
    In 2005 Nukleuz noticed the huge growth, innovation, youth and excitement which was coming from within the hardcore scene and found more than they were bargaining for, large numbers of high quality records by a variety of young up and coming producers. And filled with enthusiasm set about getting involved and dropped the successful Hardcore Nation CDs with Warner Music alongside Stu Allan, DJ Seduction & Robbie Long.
  • Ocean Drive Records: Ocean Drive Records brings you some of the best underground House, Progesive House and Trance music from all over the globe. Ocean Drive Records was founded in June 2006 by Paul Harrison.
  • Paranoja Records: Paranoja Records was found in the Year 2006 from Danijela (Licensing) and Andreas Steinberger(CEO). The Music Label is concentrated to produce and license House and Dance Music around the World. Together with their Partner Schopper Christian (A&R) they work hard on new Projects in the Music Business.
  • Proud Sound Productions: PROUD SOUND IS A UK PRODUCTIONS & PROMOTIONS BRAND. The Proud Sound brand in general has been established since January 2007, But the Proud Sound Productions/Record Label has been established since September 2007. Proud Sound is growing more and more everyday. We have some awesome tracks, which include some massive download chart toppers. All our artists are extremely talented and exciting prospects within the music world and together with Proud Sound we are becoming a highly recognized name in the music scene. Keep an eye out for us over this coming summer with massive plans on production label and event side. Proud Sound will soon be responsible for CD single & album releases. Proud Sound is currently publishing the Proud Sound debut compilation album which should be available by end of summer. All our artists at present are some of the best up and coming around and although we are pleased to allow up and coming artists the chance to shine, they are also chosen with great care and attention to allow us to bring you the best dance music! Proud Sound held its first event/night on February 8th 2008 at Mbargo, Coventry “SWITCHED ON”. This was headlined with a massive line up, including, Mischa Daniles of FAME flew over from his home in Amsterdam, plus Hed Kandi’ Luke Neville. Plus we saw the Switched On residents Louis Proud (Host) and Anthony Brooks play awesome sets to see a massive up and coming event in with style! The Whole launch went off with great success, so much so we have upgraded the venue by moving to Coventry’s awesome Dogma Bar/Club. This venue held our “Launch Party Part 2” featuring the Radio 1 dance chart topper “Michael Woods AKA Out Of Office”.

  • Reactor Records: Reactor Records is a Perth, Western Australia based record label started in June 2006 by local producer and Dj, Lee Canning. With a vision to promote top quality local, national and international music, we hope to attract excellent producers with cutting edge sounds to distribute to the world via internet based sites.
    Reactor Records has an aim to distribute electronic trance, with an emphasis on more upbeat music, but any melodic and uplifting music is considered for release.

  • Recover Recordings: The Recoverworld Label Group is the trading name for Supreme Music Ltd.
    We are an established and continually expanding collection of record labels, a publishing company, online record store and recording studio/mastering suite.
    The Managing Director of the company is Chris Hampshire, an established producer with over 150 commercial releases to his name and international DJ who has been working in the industry since 1992.
    The label group itself started out as “Eve Records” back in 1994 and as such is one of the UK’s oldest and most famous independent dance music label groups.
    Since then, the label group has changed its name to “Recoverworld” and it currently consists of a suite of eight active labels generating a high output of releases across a wide range of genres including trance, techno and a little bit of house.

The immediate vicinity to the Netherlands has helped Redux Recordings increase its reach in the Dutch Trance scene. Besides actively promoting in Germany and the Netherlands, Redux Recordings has also offices in the U.K. and Scandinavia.
